Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

This policy covers the processing of personal data on the VPN96 marketing website, user panel and subscription service. The sections below explain how data is used for account management, service operation and transactions. Data handled on third-party payment pages is also subject to those providers’ own policies. See the Terms of Service for rules on using the service.

Account and Order Data

VPN96 does not require an email address. You can open an account with a username and password, without providing a registration email. Account data is used to verify identity, manage subscriptions and handle account-related requests. Do not include unnecessary identifying information in your username or send passwords or complete subscription links in support tickets.

Order records include the selected plan, amount, payment status, transaction reference and refund records. They are used to confirm payments, deliver subscriptions, verify data allowances and handle transaction disputes. Information you submit in a support ticket is used to investigate issues and respond to requests. Provide only details relevant to the issue, and redact credentials from screenshots.

No-Logs Policy and Operational Data

VPN96 follows a no-logs policy: it does not record which websites users visit through subscription routes, store browsing content, destination websites or DNS query history, or create records that could be used to reconstruct individual browsing activity.

Temporary session state needed to operate a connection is used only while the connection is being processed and is not kept as a persistent connection log after it ends. The service does not retain detailed connection records that link users to their destinations. Account data usage, plan status and data reset records are billing data retained as needed to manage the service; these records do not include lists of websites visited.

Marketing website analytics and subscription route data are handled separately. Website analytics may include pages visited, referral source, browser and device category. This information helps us understand how content is used and troubleshoot page issues; it is not used to reconstruct browsing activity on subscription routes.

Cookies and Local Storage

The website and user panel may use cookies and local storage to maintain login status, save language preferences and interface choices, and support analytics. Login credentials identify verified sessions. Preference data reduces the need to repeat settings and should not be shared with others alongside subscription addresses.

You can restrict cookies or clear site storage in your browser settings. After clearing storage, you may need to log in again, and some preferences may return to their defaults. When finished using a public device, log out and clear relevant storage. Clearing browser data does not delete server-side account, order or pending support ticket data.

Third-Party Payments and Data Sharing

VPN96 supports Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT. Payments are handled by the relevant third-party payment service. Payment details submitted on its pages are managed by that service under its own rules. VPN96 receives transaction results and reference information needed to verify orders; we do not ask users to send customer support their payment account passwords.

Data is used only for the service purposes described in this policy. Where processing is entrusted to another party, the scope of processing and access permissions must be limited. When information must be provided by law, it is handled only to the extent required. VPN96 does not sell users’ personal data or share subscription usage records with advertisers to build browsing profiles.

Data Retention and Deletion Requests

Account data is retained while the account is active and for as long as needed to manage subscriptions. Order and refund records are retained for transaction verification, dispute handling and applicable legal requirements. Support tickets and website analytics are retained only as long as needed to handle requests, troubleshoot issues or conduct analysis, then deleted or de-identified. Data is not retained indefinitely for purposes unrelated to its use.

You can log in to the panel and use the support ticket portal to request access to, correction of or deletion of account data. Account ownership must be verified before processing. If data relates to an ongoing transaction or dispute, or is subject to a legal retention obligation, we will explain why it cannot be deleted immediately. Deleting an account may affect subscription use, so confirm that related orders have been properly handled first.

Policy Updates and Questions

When this policy changes, revised content will be published on this page and the date at the top will be updated. Material changes to processing purposes, data categories or user rights will be communicated through the website or user panel. Where separate consent is legally required, it will be obtained as applicable.

If you have questions about data use, retention or deletion, visit the contact page for information about support channels, then submit a specific request through the panel. Please identify the account feature or order involved and avoid sharing personal information unrelated to your request.
